A Belated Galentine's Day Celebration

I originally planned to share this post before Valentine’s Day, but… life had other ideas! Between RL obligations and a busy schedule, time slipped away. But I had so much fun putting together these looks that I couldn’t resist sharing them anyway as a belated Galentine’s Day celebration. After all, our avatars’ lives can get just as busy and complicated as our own, right?

Today’s post highlights the ladies’ stunning dresses, perfect for any elegant celebration. Serena’s beautiful dress, designed by Belle Epoque, was featured at the February round of Anthem and should now be available (or soon will be) at the Belle Epoquei mainstore. She also wears the exquisite Cherished Photo locket and hoop earrings by Yummy, which are available for a few more days at Collabor88. I haven’t added any photos to the locket yet, but I definitely plan to! Serena’s look is completed with a charming new hairstyle by Faga, featuring an upswept ponytail tied with a delicate bow.

The Story

Golden hour bathed the city in its warm, honeyed glow as Serena, Luna, and Ella Rose stood together on the terrace of an elegant restaurant. The soft light brushed against their pink dresses, casting a radiant glow over their skin and making the satin, ruffles, and silk of their outfits shimmer. Behind them, a white stone railing framed the terrace, with blooming flowers spilling over its edges, their petals catching the light breeze.

A table draped in a linen cloth stood nearby, adorned with champagne bottles, their corks loosened from earlier toasts. A large white umbrella stretched overhead, its fabric rippling gently as the last hues of sunset painted the sky in pastel pinks and soft oranges.

Serena, always exuding effortless charm, wore a sleek, off-the-shoulder blush pink mini dress with a flared skirt. Her long, blonde hair cascaded in waves, secured with a perfectly tied pink bow. She held her champagne flute close, her expression lively as she turned to her friends.

Ella Rose looked every bit as radiant in her romantic, ruffled rose-pink dress with delicate sheer sleeves. Her red hair was swept into a messy yet elegant updo, wisps of curls framing her face. Gold rings adorned her fingers, catching the sunlight as she lifted her glass for another toast.

Luna stood beside them, graceful and poised in a form-fitting, satin pink gown with off-the-shoulder sleeves. Her rich, dark curls were styled into an effortless high bun, and gold jewelry sparkled against her skin. She smiled, her eyes warm as she raised her glass, the three of them bathed in the soft glow of the evening.

“To friendship,” Luna declared, lifting her flute with a playful grin.

“To us,” Ella Rose added, her voice filled with warmth.

Serena, with a soft laugh, clinked her glass against theirs. “To the best belated Galentine’s celebration ever!”

The gentle clink of their glasses rang in the air, blending with the distant hum of the city beyond the terrace. As they sipped their champagne, the crisp, fruity flavors danced on their tongues while the moment wrapped them in its golden embrace.

Luna smirked, eyes sparkling. “Okay, serious question. If this year’s Galentine’s had a theme, what would it be? Last year was ‘chaotic but thriving.'”

Ella Rose tapped her manicured nails against her glass, considering. “How about ‘elegance and excess’? Because let’s be honest, everything about this night has been both.”

Serena giggled, setting her glass down for a moment. “I like that. We went all out, and I’m not mad about it. Do you think the waiter judged us for ordering an extra dessert platter?”

Luna laughed. “Absolutely. But I have no regrets.”

“None at all,” Ella Rose agreed, reaching for another sip of champagne. “We work hard, we deserve this.”

They stood for a moment, taking it all in—the golden sky, the warmth of the fading sunlight on their skin, the way their dresses seemed to glow in the evening light. They had all been busy, caught up in their own lives—Serena with her photography projects, Luna running her bustling coffee house, and Ella Rose immersed in her own career path. But nights like this, where they could be together, dressed to the nines, with champagne in hand and laughter in the air… this was what truly mattered.

“Okay,” Ella Rose said, straightening. “One last toast before we go. To all the adventures still ahead.”

Serena and Luna exchanged smiles before raising their glasses one last time.

“To adventures,” Serena echoed.

“To the memories we haven’t made yet,” Luna added.

Their glasses met once more, the soft chime of crystal against crystal a promise of more nights like this: more laughter, more celebrations, and a friendship that would always shine, no matter how many golden hours passed them by.
